Deknudt Mirror Group is a company that has been passionately manufacturing mirrors since 1946 and this in a region with a centuries old glass and mirror tradition: Flanders in Belgium. Deknudt Mirror Group is worlwidely considered as a valuable partner in the mirror market.

Deknudt Mirror Group consists of two business units: Deknudt Mirror Works and Deknudt Mirrors.
Deknudt Mirror Works is taking care of all the production activities.

Glass processing
Deknudt Mirror Works is the production unit of the group, responsible for all the treatments of the glass. The glass itself is purchased from the best European glass manufacturers. Only glass plates of triple A quality is being processed.
Starting from big glass plates of 2.50 x 3.25 m:
+ the glass is silvered in our own conveyor to become mirror glass
+ the glass is cut in all different possible shapes
+ the edges are finished in different ways
+ the glass pieces are beveled in different corners and widths
+ the glass is printed (on the front side or on the backside before silvering)
+ the mirror is made partially transparent again
+ the mirror is made double sided (Deknudt Mirror Works is the worl leader in this specialty)
+ different metal parts are professionally glued to and on the glass or mirror
+ different parts such as mirror, glass or lacquered glass are coated together

Polyurethane
Deknudt Mirror Works produces frames in polyurethane (PU). PU mirror frames are light, strong and retaining their shape. Humidity, heat or drought do not have any influence on them.
The PU frames are injected and consequently decorated according to traditional methods. We have a lot of techniques in house for this:
+ perfect decoration of the frame with silver, gold or cupper metal leaf
+ finishing of the frames with patina or oil
+ spraying of the frame in different colours
+ glossy or matt finish
